Sneaking in that protein and veg...
It's summer vacation and let's face it, every 5 minutes parents everywhere are hearing "is there anything to eat?" or "I'm STARVING!!!". And OMG it's like if they are home, these kids must eat ALL. DAY. LONG.
So, what better than to give them a snack that packs in a ton of protein, some healthy fats and some great vegetables? At least its satisfying and will keep them going. And because it's a dip, it's also portable and can be taken to the beach or pool with a side of fresh sliced veg and some whole grain crackers.
This recipe is also super quick and easy to make, so keep it on hand for when unexpected guests drop by. It's also great as an appetizer when entertaining over the summer or a backyard/poolside snack.
